Cremini 1878, one of the most typical and famous chocolates of Piedmont, in the original Venchi recipe dated 1878. Cremini are square and smooth with two layers of hazelnut gianduja and a layer of almond paste. The two outer layers combine milk chocolate with hazelnut paste, while the middle, sweeter layer is made of almond paste with white chocolate. As was the case in 1878, for Cremino 1878 and all other hazelnut products, Venchi only uses the Piedmont hazelnut variety called the Round and Gentle Hazelnuts of Piedmont, renowned all over the world for their unique organoleptic qualities. The assortment is packed in a transparent bag with a golden seal and contains about 27 chocolates (each chocolate weighs about 11 g). For those who love dark chocolate and Pistachio, Venchi created two alternative versions to the Cremino Classico: the Extra Dark Cremino and the Pistachio Cremino.
