Description:
Fusilli di Gragnano are a traditional pasta shape from Campania, in the Naples area. Their name comes from an ancient production method: in the past, fusilli were made by wrapping spaghetti-like pasta dough around a thin iron rod called a fuso. The result is a beautifully twisted pasta shape that is excellent at holding and capturing sauces.
Use:
Perfect with ragù, tomato and vegetable sauces, pesto, and cheese- or meat-based sauces. Also excellent for baked pasta dishes.
