The most famous pasta in the world – a cornerstone of Italian cuisine. Gragnano IGP spaghetti is made from durum wheat semolina and pure spring water from the Monti Lattari. It is shaped using bronze dies and dried slowly.
China, Sicily, and even Liguria all claim to be the birthplace of spaghetti. However, the first recorded mention of the word spaghetti appears in Li maccheroni di Napoli, a work by the Neapolitan poet and playwright Antonio Viviani. He used the term as a diminutive of spago (string).
Gragnano IGP spaghetti pairs perfectly with almost all traditional Mediterranean sauces: from fresh tomatoes to fish, seafood, and vegetables.
Ingredients: durum wheat flour
