Pecorino Romano, Available in Store

Pecorino Romano is a hard cheese made primarily in the Lazio and Sardinia regions of Italy, using sheep’s milk. This cheese, with its bold and salty flavor, is aged for at least 5 months, developing a crumbly texture and a sharp, slightly spicy taste. It is especially popular as a grating cheese, perfect for enhancing pasta dishes such as the famous Cacio e Pepe or Amatriciana, or enjoyed in slices with honey and pears.
