Serving suggestion
The sauce is ready to use: simply heat and mix with freshly cooked pasta.
Traditionally, it is especially good with penne rigate, but it also pairs well with rigatoni, mezze maniche and other short pasta shapes.
Finish with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and, if desired, some finely chopped parsley.
