Colomba with Lemon cream 750g, Maina

Colomba pasquale or colomba di Pasqua is an Italian traditional Easter bread, the counterpart of the two well-known Italian Christmas desserts, panettone and pandoro.

The dough for the colomba is made in a similar manner to panettone, with flour, eggs, sugar, natural yeast and butter; unlike panettone, it usually contains candied peel and no raisins. The dough is then fashioned into a dove shape (colomba in Italian) and finally is topped with pearl sugar and almonds before being baked

Colomba limoncello flavouring cream filled, with lemon flavouring syrup – Naturally leavened oven baked cake
Wheat flour – Limoncello flavouring cream 18% (sugar, water, glucose-fructose syrup, Lemon infusion 5% corresponding to 0.9% of total ingredients, skimmed milk powder, thickener: pectin, preserving agent: potassium sorbate, natural flavours) – Fresh eggs – Sugar – Butter – Lemon flavouring syrup 5% (water, sugar, alcohol, lemon infusion 5% corresponding to 0.2% of total ingredients, lemon juice, flavours) – Whole fresh pasteurized milk – Natural yeast (contains wheat) – Emulsifyng agent: Mono-diglycerides of fatty acids – Salt – Fructose – Flavours.
Ingredients packet icing sugar (2%): Sugar – Wheat starch – Flavours.
May contain traces of nuts and soya.
