Prosciutto di Parma is an Italian cured ham with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status, produced exclusively in the province of Parma. Made from the hind leg of the pig, it is aged for at least 12 months, developing a delicate and slightly sweet flavor. This raw ham is perfect to enjoy on its own, in appetizers, or paired with cheese, bread, and fruit.
