Our seas are highly populate by cuttlefishes, from which we obtain a black liquid called ”cuttlefish ink”, which is naturally used by the cuttlefish to protect itself from the predators.
The Tuscan cuisine developped a number of recipes which involve the use of the cuttlefish ink. One of the most known and loved recipes is no doubt the ”primi piatti”, basically spaghetti or rice, with cuttlefish and its ”ink”.
Following the original tradition, our cooks prepare the Sugo al Nero di SeppiaToscana in Tavola ®, which you can use to prepare excellent spaghetti or delicate risotto in a very short time.
A good pairing with fresh dry or fruity white wines.
